Stars react to Kanye West's hospital ordeal
The Kanye West saga has taken a turn for the worse.
His friends and fans were shocked to hear he was hospitalised last night and reportedly underwent a psychiatric evaluation, following a string of bizarre outbursts over the weekend.
However, many stars have spoken out in support of the ‘Famous’ rapper and have wished him well in his recovery.
His close friend and fellow musician John Legend told CBS: “We were with Kim actually right before all of that.
“I was concerned with all I saw so hopefully he is getting some rest and some time to figure things out.”
Others took to Twitter to share their support.

The easy thing to do is make Kanye West jokes.
The compassionate thing to do is hope he's ok and gets the help he needs.— andy lassner (@andylassner) November 22, 2016
No matter how controversial he may be at times Kanye West has so much love that he tries to spread, this is heartbreaking #PrayForKanye

I hope Kanye West feels better, I also hope he'll realize that no white supremacist is worth adulating.

However, ‘Good Morning Britain’ host Piers Morgan noted that there was not as much sympathy as one would expect for such a big celebrity.
He said on the show today: “There is very little sympathy for Kanye West on social media. The problem of leading your life in this bubble… [Fans] get fed up of you, they turn on you.”
He also blamed the Kardashian reality TV lifestyle for Kanye’s recent demise, adding: “He’s incredibly smart, bright, different, incredibly talented guy and a brilliant musician yet he was sucked into this vortex of the Kardashian reality television and now look… he’s in a hospital in Los Angeles and he’s in a terrible state.”
On the weekend, Kanye turned up late to his concert in Sacremento and then took aim at Beyoncé and Jay Z, telling the crowd before fleeing the stage: “Jay Z I know you got killas. Please don’t send them at my head. If you keep following old models, your ass is going to get Hillary Clinton’d. Don’t go dissing Beyoncé, she’s great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great.”
Before cancelling the remaining dates on his tour, he also declared that if he’d been bothered to vote in the recent US presidential elections he would have chosen controversial candidate Donald Trump, despite showing Hilary Clinton support during her campaign.
