Starstruck Edinburgh locals bump into Alan Carr while hunting Hollywood actor
Shocked Edinburgh locals bumped into Alan Carr advertising for his show on the Royal Mile.
The British TV personality was handing out flyers for his show 'Interior Design Masters' in the old town on Wednesday afternoon.
A video posted on TikTok shows a crowd of people watching the TV star promote the BBC programme which he described as being "the best show on earth".

One TikTok user shared the moment online and explained she was exploring the area to find Hollywood actor Jacob Elordi and actress Mia Goth - who are in the capital filming for the upcoming Netflix movie, Frankenstein.
Hannah Kan wrote: "When you went to old town to find Jacob Elordi and Mia Goth in Edinburgh but found Alan Carr instead.
"A gem on the Royal Mile."

Alan said to the crowd: "I am so glad I don't have to do any of that tacky self promoting anymore. The greatest show on earth.
"Interior Design Masters - come along and watch it. Who wants a flyer?"
Fans then ran over to the star to get their chance to speak to him and get a flyer of their own.

The video racked in over 8,000 likes with many taking to the comments to share their excitement. One person wrote: "He is iconic."
One gutted fan said: "I can't believe I wasn't there."
Another person simply said: "I saw him the other day."
