Stassi Schroeder Returns to Work with Lisa Vanderpump Again, Joining Season 2 Cast of “Vanderpump Villa”
"Welcome back, darling!" Vanderpump said in an Instagram video with Schroeder
Stassi Schroeder is returning to reality TV!
The Vanderpump Rules alum, 36, is set to join the cast of spinoff series Vanderpump Villa, which was just renewed for a second season. Lisa Vanderpump announced the news in an Aug. 9 Instagram post, where she held up a glass of champagne as she teased the upcoming season.
“Well hello there, I want to welcome you back to Vanderpump Villa season 2,” she began. “Now, I am sitting here and I'm thinking, ‘What should I put on the menu?’ Any ideas?”
The camera then panned to another personal seated at the table: Schroeder!
“Lisa, obviously goat cheese balls,” she replied, referring to the popular appetizer she used to love when she worked at Sur (the restaurant where Vanderpump Rules originated back in 2013).
“Excellent idea, cheers!" Vanderpump said. “Welcome back, darling!”
The restaurateur captioned the video, “Vanderpump Villa is returning for Season 2… with a new addition! #WelcomeBackDarling #VanderpumpVilla”

Fans in the comments celebrated the news of Schroeder's return to Bravo after she and co-star Kristen Doute were fired from VPR in June 2020 over past racially insensitive actions regarding cast member Faith Stowers, which they have since acknowledged and apologized for.
“Oh I’ve waited my entire life for stassis return,” one person wrote, as another added, " NEEEDDDDDDD STASSI BACK ON MY TV SCREEN"
Schroeder took to her own account to share the announcement, posting a photo of her and Vanderpump in the French villa where the show takes place.
“You know I’m walking around these halls pretending to be European royalty #vanderpumpvilla,” she wrote in the caption.
Vanderpump Villa documented the drama-filled escapades of the staff at her French countryside estate, Chateau Rosabelle. For season 1, which premiered in April, Vanderpump hand-picked the twelve stars, who fill every role needed for her hospitality venture, from executive chefs to mixologists to housekeepers.
Much like Vanderpump Rules, the series followed the "decadence and debauchery" as the staff fulfill their professional duties — curating luxury experiences and catering to the whims of their clientele — while navigating their own interpersonal rivalries and romances.
The same day Schroeder’s addition to Vanderpump Villa was announced, news came out that she also is getting her own docu-comedy series on Hulu. Consisting of 30-minute episodes, Stassi Says will be executive produced by Schroeder and former VPR producers Erin Foye and Jenna Rosenfeld.
“Endlessly relatable, utterly hysterical, and questionably sane, Stassi is the anchor of a fresh ensemble of comedic and chaotic characters who are dealing with identity crises and major life crossroads of their own — and Stassi’s the one who has to keep them all afloat,” the series synopsis says.
This is Vanderpump's first time back working with Schroeder since her departure from VPR four years ago.
