State Trooper and Police Officers Rescue Elderly Couple From Cleveland House Fire

Cleveland police officers and an Ohio state trooper rescued an elderly couple from a burning home in Cleveland on Saturday, January 23.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said that while on a routine patrol, Trooper Hiram Morales saw the house on fire late on Saturday and rushed to help. Local news said the fire was at the 3700 block of West 47th Street.

Video shared by the highway patrol shows a trooper ask a bystander if anyone was in the house. The man tells the trooper someone in the house uses a wheelchair.

The trooper then runs into the burning house. Moments later, two Cleveland police officers rush to the scene.
