Statement released after rush hour crash in Stirchley's Pershore Road
A man was rushed to hospital after a car crashed into stationary vehicles in Birmingham during rush hour this morning (November 26). The collision happened on Pershore Road in Stirchley at around 8.46am.
Paramedics treated the man, who was the driver of a car, at the scene for non-serious injuries. He was later transported to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.
Footage shared with BirminghamLive showed traffic was brought to a halt outside ATS Euromaster following the crash. Drivers were seen turning around to find alternative routes for their journeys.

Firefighters, along with paramedics, were spotted at the scene during the short clip. A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson told BirminghamLive: "We were called to reports of an RTC on Pershore Road in Stirchley at 8.46am.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered one car had collided with stationary vehicles. The driver, a man, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment."
