Step into Christmas with Surrey farm's winter trail and chance to meet Santa Claus
Christmas is closer than you think and families will already be thinking about fun activities to book to make the festive season that little bit more special. A Surrey estate with beautiful pastures and ancient woodlands is set to transform into a winter wonderland.
Those who would like to officially step into Christmas should book their tickets in advance, as typically spaces can sell out quickly. Family festive events will take place at Priory Farm's Discovery Land, with tales at the Father Christmas Experience and a new winter trail sprinkled with stardust.
This year, the trail will feature twinkling lights, interactive adventures behind 12 advent-style doors, and sensory play areas. Climbing walls and challenges will also be set up, which children of all ages can participate in, with Conifer the reindeer, Timber, and Pebble leading the way.
Skylar the snow leopard, Mary Christmas, and Tinselbottom the fairy will bring the magic of Christmas to life with storytelling, singing and special effects. The interactive event will help build the Christmas stars magic sparkle so Father Christmas can guide his way to deliver presents to children. Those meeting Father Christmas are given a complimentary gift.

There's also the award-winning farm shop where you can pick some treats for Christmas or gifts.
“The Winter Trail features 12 Secret Star advent-style doors, each revealing unique experiences that capture the magic of the season,” says Jemma Penrose, Customer Experience and Events Manager at Priory Farm. “Visitors can ride a shooting star, catch a falling star, and immerse themselves in festive wonder, surrounded by sensory play areas, climbing features and interactive challenges.
"We’re incredibly excited to host The Father Christmas Experience in a new theatre space within Discovery Land this year. Tinselbottom and Mary Christmas can’t wait to welcome visitors into this magical setting, and after the show, families can enjoy a special moment with Father Christmas himself at our Festive Village Green. Toast a marshmallow, soak in the festive atmosphere, and get ready for a magical memory with the big man himself.”
