Stephen Graham's chilling new Netflix drama Adolescence gets first look teasers
First look teasers for Leicestershire-based actor Stephen Graham's new Netflix drama has been released. Adolescence will see Stephen star alongside an all-star cast.
Stephen, who lives in Ibstock, in Coalville, is known for a host of remarkable performances in Boardwalk Empire, Line of Duty and Peaky Blinders - including its upcoming movie. Now, his latest work has been given the teaser treatment ahead of its eagerly awaited premiere, reports the Mirror.
Adolescence will see Stephen star as Eddie Miller, the dad of 13-year-old Jamie (Owen Cooper) - a boy who is arrested and charged with the murder of a teenage girl. The drama also comes with quite the twist - each episode is filmed in one continuous take.

The move, which is similar to Stephen's acclaimed Boiling Point movie, will allow the action to play out in real time. It is a move Stephen and co-writer Jack Thorne hopes will compel the audience to remain engrossed throughout.
An official synopsis from Netflix reads: "Adolescence tells the story of how a family's world is turned upside down when 13-year-old Jamie Miller is arrested for the murder of a teenage girl who goes to his school."
"Stephen Graham will play Jamie's father and 'appropriate adult', Eddie Miller. Ashley Walters stars as Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe, and Erin Doherty is Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to Jamie's case."
Teaser images released this week show Stephen's character Eddie caught in conflict as he sits with his son. Other images show him alongside Emmerdale star Christine Tremarco who also features in the series.
Game of Thrones' Faye Marsay, Happy Valley's Mark Stanley, After Life's Jo Hartley and newcomer Amélie Pease are also cast in the four-part drama. Boiling Point director Philip Barantini reunites with Stephen to direct the series.
Netflix bosses have touted Adolescence as a formidable "compelling real-time, one-shot viewing experience", destined to be unmissable when it airs next year. An exact premiere date has yet to be confirmed
