Yahoo News Stephen King's Pet Sematary reboot starts filming
Hollywood is going Stephen King crazy at the moment, especially after the success of last year's IT: Chapter One movie.
One of the multiple adaptations in the works is Pet Sematary, based off of the novel about a family who move to a rural part of the United States and encounter the supernatural, murder and all sorts of creepiness.
Filming is officially underway on the project, as co-director Dennis Widmyer revealed in a tweet.

It was recently revealed that John Lithgow had been cast in the role of creepy old man™ Jud Crandall. (No offence, John.)
In terms of Stephen King adaptations, last year not only saw the release of the hugely successful IT (which is getting a sequel next year), but the quite successful Gerald's Game and the absolute bomb that was The Dark Tower.

Looking ahead, we've got a JJ Abrams-produced TV show called Castle Rock on its way as well as a sequel to The Shining called Doctor Sleep, starring Ewan McGregor.
If that's not enough, Steven Spielberg has suggested that he may finally adapt The Talisman.
Pet Sematary will shoot this summer and is planned for release on April 19, 2019 in US and UK cinemas.
