Steps star Lee Latchford-Evans has teased more music and another tour from the band.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Latchford-Evans revealed that the band members are currently focusing on solo projects, but there is talk of them reuniting in a couple of years' time.
"I think this year and next year we are focusing on solo projects for each band member, singing, acting, dancing or TV entertaining," he said. "There is talk about maybe coming back in 2020 and that will be with new music and hopefully another tour. That's the plan at the moment."
Latchford-Evans also reflected on the group's career, saying: "Everything that's happened has happened and everything has pushed us to where we are today.
"Who would have thought that 20 years later we'd be back with a new album, a 22-date arena tour and everybody having the chance to go off and do the likes of Strictly or Claire's solo album or myself, I've just been in a feature film. We've all had opportunities that maybe wouldn't have happened without Steps."
Speaking of band member Faye Tozer's performance in Strictly Come Dancing, he said: "To be fair she's surprised me. I knew she could move, we all had to dance in Steps but let's be honest, a Steps routine is nothing like learning the Tango or the Quickstep.
"It's a total different way of dancing. She's doing phenomenal so thumbs up. I hope she goes on and keeps enjoying."
