Steve Harvey Shares Rare Behind-the-Scenes Instagrams of What 'Celebrity Family Feud' Is Really Like

To kick off this week, Steve Harvey pulled the curtains back and gave fans a glimpse into what it's actually like being a TV host.

On Monday, the Facebook Watch talk show star posted video clips to his Instagram Stories that feature himself getting ready, arriving on set, and making last-minute wardrobe adjustments before walking on stage to host Celebrity Family Feud. As you can glean from the snapshots below, it takes a lot of prep work and many people to make TV magic happen.

What's more, Steve also shared a video of himself smoking a cigar on his Instagram feed (though, it's not entirely clear if the clip was shot before or after the Celebrity Family Feud taping).

Recently, Steve has been sharing all sorts of candid moments on Instagram — from enjoying time with his grandchildren to sweet moments with his wife, Marjorie. By the looks of things, he's having an absolute blast with his family as he continues to juggle his many gigs, including his new job hosting Family Feud in South Africa (which wrapped up filming season one in late January).

Steve has always kept things positive, even after NBC canceled his talk show last spring to make way for Kelly Clarkson's new daytime program. Back then, Steve explained that he was looking forward to taking on different projects in the months to come.

"I happen to be 62 years old. I am in the middle of my 62nd chapter of the book that I'm writing," Steve said back in June 2019. "In this 62nd chapter, I got my finger on the corner of the page. All I'm doing is I'm about to turn it. I can't wait to see what God's got for me on that other page."

Looks like Steve's "other page" has been full of many exciting ventures so far.
