Peter Davey, BBC's Executive Producer, has voiced his excitement about the fast-approaching fundraising gala, saying: "The team is working tirelessly to create something special, and I can promise a fantastic night of family entertainment, fronted by our amazing presenters and filled with treats and surprises for all ages. BBC Children in Need is one of those special shows where everyone can come together to laugh, cry, and hopefully donate what they can to help those in need."

Funds raised on the night will bolster the crucial work of BBC Children in Need across communities in the UK, supporting essential services such as family centres, community spaces, youth organisations, refuges, homeless support, hospices, and helplines. With a heartfelt appeal, BBC Children in Need is urging people nationwide to get involved and help brighten the lives of young people this year.

Children In Need will be broadcast live on BBC One and iPlayer from MediaCityUK, Salford, at 7pm on Friday, November 15.
