Stockley Protesters Hold Demonstration Inside St. Louis Galleria

Protesters angry with a police officer’s acquittal in a fatal shooting took to the St. Louis Galleria to hold a demonstration on Saturday, October 21.

Earlier in the day, protesters held a march downtown near The Dome at America’s Center stadium, where a high school band competition was being held. The protesters were allowed into the stadium, as reported by local news outlet KSDK.

Protesters have been holding demonstrations most evenings, predominately in St Louis, since former St Louis police officer Jason Stockley was found not guilty on September 17 for the fatal shooting of Anthony Lamar Smith. Credit: Facebook/ Search4Swag via Storyful
