Stockwell stabbing sees man rushed to hospital after knife attack
A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in South London on Friday night (September 20). The Metropolitan Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Gosling Way in Stockwell shortly after 8pm on Friday night to reports of a stabbing.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 20s and raced him to hospital. His injuries have been assessed and are not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers are now carrying out enquiries into the attack, and are urging anyone with information to get in touch. No arrests have been made at this stage.

The road runs through the Cowley Estate, a large housing complex in South London. The full statement from the Metropolitan Police says: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 20:15hrs on Friday, 20 September to reports of a man stabbed on Gosling Way, SW9.
"Officers attended. The man, who is aged in his 20s was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue. Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting CAD 7482/20Sep."
Less than twelve hours earlier, a man was stabbed in broad daylight in Upminster and had to be raced to hospital while in a critical condition. The attack had taken place on Marlborough Gardens and a crime scene remained in place while officers carried out enquiries.
