Stoke City vs West Ham: Prediction, team news, line-ups, start time, live, TV, head to head, odds - Premier League preview

Hammered | West Ham have not beaten Stoke City in any competition in over four years

Stoke City and West Ham's seasons may be ambling towards a disappointing conclusion, but a top-half finish in the Premier League remains a possibility for both sides.

The pressure on Slaven Bilic's head may have lifted thanks for a three-game unbeaten streak, but one win in 10 games is still no record to conclude the campaign on.

The Potters have fared even worse in recent weeks with five defeats in their previous six but with ninth-placed Southampton only banking 40 points thus far, a pride-boosting top-10 finish is within reach.

TEAM NEWS

Jon Walters is a doubt for Stoke as he continues to struggle with a knee problem. The forward missed last weekend's defeat by Swansea and has not been able to train much this week.

Jack Butland will keep his place in goal after making his return from 13 months out with ankle problems at Swansea.

Provisional squad: Grant, Butland, Shawcross, Martins Indi, Johnson, Pieters, Bardsley, Muniesa, Cameron, Whelan, Adam, Imbula, Allen, Shaqiri, Arnautovic, Sobhi, Walters, Crouch, Berahino, Diouf, Bony.

Andy Carroll is still ruled out for West Ham with a groin injury. Slaven Bilic also has doubts over Cheikhou Kouyate, Winston Reid, Arthur Masuaku and Diafra Sakho following last weekend's goalless draw with Everton.

But skipper Mark Noble and right-back Sam Byram return to the squad after suspension, while wingers Robert Snodgrass and Sofiane Feghouli should be fit.

Provisional squad: Adrian, Randolph, Byram, Fonte, Reid, Collins, Cresswell, Masuaku, Noble, Kouyate, Fernandes, Nordtveit, Rice, Makasi, Snodgrass, Feghouli, Lanzini, Ayew, Fletcher, Calleri, Sakho, Holland.
