Stony Brook Medical Facility For Non-Coronavirus Patients Nears Completion

Construction for a medical facility at the State University of New York at Stony Brook continued on April 8, as state officials mapped out a plan to relieve hospitals overburdened by an influx of coronavirus patients.

This drone footage, provided by the United States Army Corps of Engineers’ New York District, shows the construction site for the facility in Stony Brook, New York. The US Army Corps of Engineers said the 1,038-bed facility will be for patients who do not have COVID-19.
