New store opening near Birmingham Bullring as owner says 'flagship'
A retailer has said a new Birmingham store will be a flagship as it plots "rapid expansion" in the. BirminghamLive previously reported how Dreame would be opening a new store on New Street, opposite the Bullring.
The shop will open on January 23, and a spokesperson for the robotic vacuum cleaner business said it would play a major part in the business. It is the robot vacuum and smart home cleaning brand’s "flagship store" in the UK, they said.
This comes after a host of closures of stores in birmingham-city-centre>Birmingham city centre shortly after the festive period. We recently reported how Hanok was closing after less than six months at Bullring.

However, the new Dreame investment serves as a boost to the city's retail scene. A spokesperson for Dreame said: "The store opening marks the brand’s rapid expansion in the UK and across Europe, as well as reflecting the overall growth of the smart home cleaning industry. The store will help to meet the needs of this growing demand and help UK customers be better informed when making purchases thanks to product demos and knowledgeable store staff.
"The store opening also marks the launch of the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete robot vacuum in the UK. This is the world’s first robot vacuum with retractable legs, allowing it to clear steps up to 6cm in height to cover more of your home."
Dreame said additional product launches include a new robotic lawnmower and a wet & dry robotic vacuum with a robotic arm. Endura Roses, a store which sold preserved floral gifts beside The Fragrance Shop on the middle floor near Selfridges, left a single rose and a heart-felt note to its customers when it shut on December 31.
