Storm Causes High Winds in the San Francisco Bay Area

A winter storm hit Northern California on Tuesday, March 28, bringing rain, snow, and wind to towns around the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Bay Area.

The Bay Area could see wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service. There were reports of downed trees in Placer County and Nevada County, according to local officials.
