In case you didn't know, bad weather is taking the UK by storm (literally), which means three things – public transport WILL have a meltdown, your WiFi signal will inevitably fail at a pivotal moment, and you may just witness someone being blown away, Mary Poppins-style...

Anyway, Good Morning Britain viewers watched on as a poor ITV weather presenter was nearly taken out by Storm Doris today (February 23).

The country has been hit by 100mph wind gusts and heavy rain – even bringing Coronation Street filming to a halt in Greater Manchester.

Reporting from Blackpool, a muffled Juliet Dunlop said: "I'm actually just struggling to keep my feet. We are certainly in the path of Doris.

"If you are heading out this morning, please do take care."

Holding her hood, she added: "I hope you can hear me above it all.

"Where we are this morning, on the north west coast, this is exactly where Doris is expected to barrel in this morning."

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Get that poor reporter inside" while someone else joked: "Could I request you send @piersmorgan off to Blackpool to report on #stormdoris? Maybe from a boat? Need to know how choppy the sea is."

As the reporter warned viewers to prepare for 80 mph winds, another added: "Juliet take care of yourself in Blackpool with storm Doris. It's very strong there. You're a credit to GMB".

And elsewhere on Twitter...
