Storm Nicole Brings Flooding to West Florida Streets

Floodwaters swamped streets on Florida’s west coast on Thursday, November 10, as Tropical Storm Nicole brought strong wind and heavy rain.

This video showing floodwater was taken by Bryan Bennett, who said it was filmed in Pass-a-Grille.

Nicole made landfall in Florida as a Category 1 hurricane early on November 10, but weakened to a tropical storm and then a tropical depression, the National Weather Service said.

The National Hurricane Center said rain and isolated flooding would affect Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and New England Friday night into Saturday as the depression moved northward. Credit: Bryan Bennett via Storyful
