Storm Zeta Downs Power Lines, Traffic Lights in Cozumel

Storm Zeta, the 27th named Atlantic storm of the season, left downed traffic lights and power lines in Cozumel after making landfall in Mexico as a Category 1 hurricane, a local reporter said on October 27.

Quintana Roo Governor Carlos Joaquín said the hurricane had weakened to a tropical storm by October 27, with maximum sustained wind speeds of 68 miles per hour.

This footage was shared by local reporter @IsraelHerreraMX and shows the damage left in the wake of the storm on the Caribbean island of Cozumel in Quintana Roo, Mexico.
