Stormzy surprised friends Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw by showing up to the Radio One Breakfast show with 20 Dominos pizzas, just hours after partying at the Brit Awards.

The British Grime star, who performed with Ed Sheeran at the ceremony on Wednesday night, was up bright and early on Thursday morning, arriving at the studio at 8am.

Ora stayed true to her promise and showed up to co-host with Grimshaw, despite being half an hour late.

She posted a video of her arrival, saying: “So I made it! Hello, guys. It's me, Rita Ora and welcome to my show with my co-host, Nicholas Grimashaw...

“No, I'm joking. Thank you for having me again, Nick and Radio 1. I love you guys and I can't wait to talk to you all.”

When she saw Stormzy arrive with the pizzas, the pop star screamed: “Oh my God! I need to Snapchat… Stormzy has brought us all this pizza!”

Ora then posted a picture of the trio tucking into the early morning snack, writing: “I meannnnnn what else do you want apart from US and 8am breakfast. By the way @stormzyofficial album is out midnight!! Go get it! Congratulations!”

She added: “When the crew dem come together coz the Brits just took it out of us...breakfast of champions.”

Despite partying at the music awards on Wednesday evening, Ora insisted that she hadn’t touched a drop of alcohol during the event.

“Can I just confirm I didn't have one drop of alcohol. I had a sip of champagne and it made my breath smell funny and then I stopped,” she said on air.

Ora and Grimshaw presented an award during the ceremony, during which Ora managed to fluff her lines, describing the category at the ‘Best British Bake-through Act’.
