Stranger Things' Hopper is going to dance with penguins
David Harbour's – aka Chief Hopper – dancing in Stranger Things season two was arguably a massive highlight of the series.
Well, it now looks like he's taking that dad dancing to the Antarctic to have a boogie with penguins. Yes, we cannot believe it either.
Harbour has established himself as the king of fan challenges, having recently officiated a wedding and even posed for a high school yearbook photo.
However, his latest one may be the cutest – and perhaps be the most socially conscious (sorry, lovebirds and high school seniors).
Hey @Greenpeace , how many retweets to send me someplace to tell emperor penguin couples I think they have terrific parenting ideologies? Perhaps hone the Hopper dance with the males...

Taking to Twitter over the weekend, Harbour wrote to Greenpeace: "Hey @Greenpeace , how many retweets to send me someplace to tell emperor penguin couples I think they have terrific parenting ideologies? Perhaps hone the Hopper dance with the males..."
Greenpeace quickly responded, challenging him to get 200K retweets to take him to the Antarctic.
Hmm, if you get over 200k we’ll ask the Captain if you can join our expedition to the Antarctic and dance with the penguins. #StrangerThings have happened https://t.co/qT78aIcKOw pic.twitter.com/LmmLceE17J

With the challenge accepted, it wasn't long before the actor racked up more than the required number of retweets from fans.
Internet, listen...
I’m a giver. I give and I give.
But now I need you.
I need 200k retweets to go dance with penguins.
Please internet.
Please retweet THIS TWEET.

"Internet... It took ya less than 5hrs," he wrote afterwards. "I'm a little shaky n sweaty, Heart pounding.
"I've never said this to a multi-user weblike platform of tons of computers connected worldwide, but... Internet... I think I love you. Hey @Greenpeace , your move..."

The organisation then made good on their word and sent Harbour a video message inviting him to join an expedition to Antarctica.
