The Hellboy reboot has unleashed the first look at Stranger Things' David Harbour as the crimson superhero. You guys, he's totally ripped.
A photo from director Neil Marshall's upcoming comic book adaptation definitely puts to rest any fears that Harbour wouldn't be able to match the imposing size of Hellboy predecessor Ron Perlman.
This image was captioned with a "Holy crap", and, judging by the response on social media, that was definitely most common reaction among fans.
Let's just say that Chief Jim Hopper has been laying off the donuts around the Hawkins, Indiana police department recently:
Harbour and Neil Marshall forged ahead with a reboot of Hellboy earlier this year when Perlman and director Guillermo del Toro failed to get their own sequel off the ground.
Perlman and Harbour were later brought together for lunch by comedian Patton Oswalt so that the original Hellboy could officially give his blessing to his predecessor.
Along with the head-turning photo, Lost's Daniel Dae Kim has now also confirmed his casting as military badass Ben Daimio following Ed Skrein's decision to resign from the role over whitewashing concerns.
The extended cast will also include Milla Jovovich as the villainous Blood Queen and American Gods' Ian McShane as Hellboy's surrogate father Trevor Bruttenholm.
Hellboy is expected to fight its way into cinemas at some point next year, and will be Rated R in order to "take off the cuffs" off director Neil Marshall.
