Yahoo News Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard says Trevor will don his own Proton Pack in Ghostbusters movie Afterlife
Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard may (or may not) have dropped a spoiler for the upcoming Ghostbusters movie Afterlife.
The actor is due to appear as Trevor in the new sequel, though questions have been raised as to whether he will don his own Proton Pack like the original four.
Asked about it in a new interview, Wolfhard teased to ET Canada: "I don't know, we'll see.
"It might be. I think it is. Totally, yeah, it's a total secret. I'm like, 'Is it a secret?' Yeah, no, it is."
Wolfhard, who was promoting new movie The Turning, then whispered to co-star Brooklynn Prince before saying: "No, I'm not actually gonna say it. It's fine. I didn't actually say it. But maybe, I don't know."
Well that's cleared that one up then. Sort of.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife recently unveiled its first trailer, which also hinted at the return of a past villain from the franchise.
Many of the series' most familiar faces will be returning for the new movie, including Dan Akroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson.
Speaking about coming back, Hudson recently said: "We're shooting the new Ghostbusters right now, coming out next summer, so I'm hoping that you'll enjoy it as much as the other movies that we've done.
"I know that I'm having a blast doing them."
Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be released on July 10, 2020.
