Streets in Surfside, Florida, Flooded by Heavy Rain

Heavy rain caused flash flooding in Miami overnight into June 4 as Potential Tropical Cyclone One hit South Florida.

The National Weather Service on Friday morning warned of the potential for “major flooding” with the possibility of coastal storm surge through Sunday.

In the early hours of Saturday, Miami Fire Rescue said they were responding to “multiple calls” of stranded vehicles and reminded motorists not to drive through flooded roadways.
