Craig Revel Horwood found himself on the floor after getting too carried away impersonating fellow judge Bruno Tonioli.

The resident Mr Nasty fell off his chair as he mimicked Tonioli’s flamboyant hand gestures while praising Debbie McGee on Strictly Come Dancing.

Revel Horwood was so in awe of McGee’s Rumba, which earned her 27 points, he felt the need to “channel Bruno at this point”.

He attempted an Italian accent and threw his hands in the air as he shouted “Giovanna darling. Debbie darling. It was sensationl. I love it, love it darling”.

But he got so carried away that he fell off of his chair as he went to sit back down, much to the amusement of Shirley Ballas and Darcey Bussell.

Viewers found the incident hilarious with one deeming it a “thing of beauty”.

Tonioli was forced to miss tonight’s show for the first time in 13 years due to a prior work commitment.

A spokesperson for the show said: “As was always the plan, Bruno Tonioli is not on the judging panel this weekend due to a very busy work schedule.
