Strictly Come Dancing stars Katya and Neil Jones are reportedly worried their time on the show may have come to an end after the recent kissing scandal.

While Neil didn’t have a celebrity partner for the third year in a row, reigning champion Katya’s time in the competition was blighted by controversy after she was snapped kissing Seann Walsh after a night out.

The pair, who performed a Charleston the week after the pictures emerged, managed to survive a couple of weeks before being booted out on Halloween.

And now reports claim that Katya, along with her husband Neil, is concerned that she has danced her last steps in the BBC ballroom after a turbulent series.

A source told The Sun Online: “January is when the new cast contracts are issued and this year there is massive panic from the dancers about their futures.

“Katya and Neil are worried bosses feel her dalliance with Seann has left a black mark that can’t be removed against their names.”

The insider also claimed that new boy Johannes Rabade, who also didn’t have a celebrity partner, is worried about not being asked back as well as Nadiya Bychkova, who made an early exit with Lee Ryan in her second series.

Standard Online has contacted representatives for the Jones’ and Strictly for comment.

Over the years, many professionals have passed through the shimmering doors with the most recent big name to leave the show being Brendan Cole.

Cole tearfully announced in January that he had been dropped from the show, having starred since the first episode in May 2004.

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday November 10 at 7pm on BBC One.
