Strictly Come Dancing: Daisy Lowe Signs Up ‘To Attract A Younger Audience’

Daisy Lowe is the latest celebrity to be added to the ever-growing list of stars rumoured to be trying to discover their hidden waltzing talents in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing competition.

This line-up is looking pretty amazing already, if all the rumours are to be believed.

According to reports, Strictly bosses signed Daisy for the show in the hopes that she will attract a ‘younger audience’ to watch stars tackling the tricky art of ballroom and latin dancing.

An insider told the Daily Star: “Daisy is a great signing – she’s one of the girls of the moment.

“Producers hope she will help give the show a new lease of life and attract some new younger viewers.

“She’s part of that trendy young Primrose Hill set and is quite edgy compared to a lot of those who normally sign up.”

A source also claims that Daisy has started ‘intense training’ in preparation for the show’s start in September, adding: “The show doesn’t start for over two months but she has already started practising. She’s taking it really seriously and wants to do well.”

Laura Whitmore, Emma Willis, Louise Redknapp, Eamonn Holmes, Ruth Langsford, Anastacia and many, many more have all had their names linked to the show too.
