Strictly Come Dancing fans slam RUBBISH line-up of ‘Z-list’ celebrities
Strictly Come Dancing fans are threatening to boycott the upcoming series over the “Z-list” line-up which features a YouTube vlogger, a documentary presenter and a British Paralympic triathlete.
The full roster of contestants was completed this morning after Casualty actor Charles Venn and stylist Susannah Constantine were unveiled on Good Morning Britain.
But fans have been left “underwhelmed” with some claiming the Celebrity Big Brother housemates, who include the Human Ken Doll and Hollywood star Kirstie Alley, are more famous.
Show bosses have been accused of “scraping the barrel” with lesser known names including This Morning doctor Ranj Singh, Steps singer Faye Tozer and Capital Breakfast DJ Vick Hope.

What a terrible line-up for #Strictly 2018. There’s literally nobody I’m excited about watching. Whoever booked this lot should be genuinely embarrassed.

Danny John-Jules, Kate Silverton, Ashley Roberts, Lauren Steadman, Seann Walsh, Graeme Swann, Katie Piper, Lee Ryan, Joe Sugg and Stacye Dooley complete the line-up.
Previous years have seen Emma Bunton, Alesha Dixon ,Caroline Flack, Susannah Reid, Ed Balls, Holly Vallance, Jerry Hall, Gethin Jones and Jimmy Tarbuck star.
Others defended the choice of celebs with some admitting they are “looking forward to the show” as the contestants offer “a good mix of experienced and new to dance”.
One tweeted: “Really excited for the new series to start. And for all those trying to spread negativity and hate, you don't have to watch the show!”
Another posted: “Every year nobody knows everyone but part of joy of show is getting to know them, which we all do a couple of weeks in! Seem to recall some saying last years line up was poor and that turned out great.”
Others have complained about those with dance experience, slamming Roberts's signing as “absolutely ridiculous” as she used to dance in the Pussycat Dolls.
Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell will all return to judge.
