Strictly Come Dancing fans 'work out' winner already - and it's bad news for Tasha

Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts believe they've already pinpointed the 2024 champion. The dazzling BBC One programme returned to our screens on Saturday (September 14), marking the start of its 20th series.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the show's hosts, were back to introduce another group of 15 celebrities to the dance floor for its pre-recorded launch show.

Celebrities such as JB Gill, Tasha Ghouri, and Nick Knowles have all committed to showcasing their best dance moves in hopes of securing a place in the final and winning the coveted Glitterball trophy.

Judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke are also present as usual, ready to share their initial impressions of the pairings. The series also marks the return of fan-favourite professional dancer Amy Dowden, who is making a comeback after her battle with breast cancer.

However, viewers have already chosen their 2024 winner. During the pre-recorded launch show, it was announced that actress Sarah Hadland would be paired with reigning champion Vito, reports the Mirror.

Now, fans believe he's set to win the trophy for the second year in a row. Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to declare Sarah as the potential winner. One viewer exclaimed, "SARAH AND VITO MY WINNERS."

Another added: "Vito and Sarah! Winners! !." A third wrote: "I can see Vito winning again, go Sarah! " Another shared a photo of Sarah on the show, captioning it: "My winner."

Sarah, widely recognised for her role in the BBC sitcom Miranda with Miranda Hart and Tom Ellis, as well as appearances in CBBC's 'Horrible Histories' and a minor part in a James Bond film, has spoken about her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.

Speaking to the BBC, she expressed her enthusiasm: "I cannot believe I am part of Strictly. I feel particularly excited to be part of such an iconic show in its 20th year. I'm so ready for the glitz, glam and glitter and hopefully I can make everyone watching at home proud."
