JB Gill's past on Strictly Come Dancing has been exposed by fans, after he stayed silent as 'cheating' claims were made against one of his rivals this year.

Following in the footsteps of his JLS bandmate Aston Merrygold, who suffered a shock early exit a few years ago, JB is on the Strictly 2024 line-up, alongside fellow singer Toyah Willcox and other celebs like Tasha Ghouri, Pete Wicks and Nick Knowles and Paul Merson. JB has been partnered with Amy Dowden, the Strictly pro who was forced to watch from the sidelines last year after her cancer battle and, after the pair made their debut as a couple on last weekend's launch show, they are being seen as the ones to beat in the eyes of the bookies.

During the launch, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick was branded a 'cheat' by opera star Wynne Evans, in reference to the fact that just nine months ago he won the Strictly Christmas special, with his inclusion on the line-up causing a bit of a stir. However, Jamie isn't the only former Christmas champion taking part this year, as JB actually took home the same title at the end of 2012, interestingly, the very same year former Strictly finalist Helen Skelton also competed.

JB took home the festive Glitterball trophy alongside now ex Strictly pro Ola Jordan, after wowing the judges and the studio audience with a jive to Rockin' Robin, with footage of the routine resurfacing online over the last few weeks.

Going into the first live show on Saturday, September 21, JB is the favourite to win Strictly 2024, on odds of 3/1 with Betfred and 7/2 with Gambling.com.
