Strictly Come Dancing result sees Wynne Evans leave as BBC co-star dealt crushing blow
Some irate viewers argued he should have gone last week and, on Sunday night, Wynne Evans was eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing, having landed in the dance-off with Montell Douglas, who ended up in danger despite scoring 35.
There was some serious results drama on the BBC show last weekend, when Wynne and pro partner Katya Jones found themselves in the bottom two for the first time, up against Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu, who had to battle to stay in for a third time. The vote did look like it was going in Shayne's favour, when both Craig and Motsi saved him, only for Anton to then take it to the wire by giving his vote to Wynne, a decision also taken by Shirley, whose deciding vote saved the Welsh singer.
Having made it through to Blackpool, Wynne and Katya performed a Charleston in the Tower Ballroom on Saturday night, but their score of 31 out of 40 left them in a rather precarious position on the Strictly leaderboard. And for the second week in a row, they didn't get enough support from the public to see them safely through.

It was Montell who found out she was in the dance-off first and, after she and Johannes reprised their salsa, all four judges opted save the Olympian turned Gladiator and her partner Johannes Radebe, sealing Wynne and Katya's exit.
In the immediate aftermath of being voted out, Wynne said how 'grateful' he was to do Strictly, while also in shock at the fact he stayed in for nine weeks, as he added was "so thankful" to have met Katya, adding that he's "grown so much as person" during his time on the show.
