Strictly Come Dancing has hit back at reports of a big feud between some of this year's contestants and professionals ahead of this weekend's final.

Faye Tozer and professional partner Giovanni Pernice were said to have been clashing in rehearsals, according to The Sun, with Giovanni's reported closeness to Ashley Roberts allegedly causing friction between her and Pasha Kovalev.

However, the show has hit back in a comment to OK! magazine and blasted the claims as "total nonsense".

Digital Spy has reached out to the BBC.

Meanwhile, new stats have emerged suggesting that Ashley is the least popular of this year's contestants with viewers, ahead of Seann Walsh – despite the latter's infamous kiss scandal with Katya Jones.

The figures also suggested that Joe Sugg is most likely to lift the Glitterball Trophy at the end of the series, ahead of Stacey Dooley – who is apparently the most popular contestant.

The songs and dances for the final have been revealed, with each couple dancing three times with their respective partners before the winner is eventually decided.

The Strictly Come Dancing finale airs on Saturday (December 15) at 6.30pm on BBC One, as one couple win the Glitterball Trophy. The special will also feature music from crooner Michael Bublé.
