Strictly Come Dancing pro-dancer Dianne Buswell has denied that she and boyfriend Joe Sugg have got engaged.

A snap of the pair cuddled up on Joe Sugg’s Instagram page with her wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring was the basis of the rumours – which quickly spread.

“Last day of chillin with this one before we start the tour!” read the caption.

But all is not what it seems.

Buswell posted in a message to fellow Strictly star Gemma Atkinson: “Instagram flips the camera. My ring is on my right hand (before I read I’m engaged again).”

Mind you, the young couple are getting extremely close, after meeting and hitting it off on the BBC dance show.

They immediately set off for a romantic weekend away once the show wrapped, and also saw in the New Year together.

Now they’re deep into rehearsals for the Strictly Come Dancing tour, set to start later this month in Birmingham, before heading off around the country, landing back in London in early February.

The line-up will reunite show celebrity dancers Stacey Dooley, Ashley Roberts, Dr Ranj Singh, Lauren Steadman, Graeme Swann and Faye Tozer.
