Strictly Come Dancing Star Lisa Riley Has Dropped Four Dress Sizes To 16!

'The People's Champion' Lisa Riley just narrowly missed out on a spot in the final of this year's Strictly Come Dancing, this weekend. But it's not all bad, she's thrilled to have lost some serious weight on the show.

The Emmerdale star started Strictly as a size 24, and over the course of the show has been shedding the pounds. With such rigorous training and routines, choreographed by her professional partner Artem Chigvintsev.

The soap favourite is apparently now a size 16 with the costume department for the Snow White panto at the Kings Theatre in Southsea, Portsmouth, in which she'll appear this Christmas, having to take in her dress.

While Lisa was still performing on the show she spoke about how pleased she was that her costumes were getting more revealing each week, thanks to her slimmer figure.

"I’ve been wearing a double Spanx leotard for the show – which forces my boobs up around my armpits – but I loved that the dresses kept getting skimpier"

"But I’m not really ready to wear Kylie Minogue style hotpants just yet though!"

Despite not making it to the final, Lisa is excited for the tour with the show and its finalists next year, as well as being cast the stage show 'Strictly Confidential', directed by the show's judge Craig Revel Horwood.

"When I first signed up to Strictly I had no idea that I’d be able to ballroom dance, so I was thrilled to be asked to do the live tour."
