Former Strictly stars, comedy legends and TV’s most famed ghost hunter are coming to Loughborough for a host of spectacular shows. A number of events for young and old are also set to take place this summer.

The starry line-up for Loughborough Town Hall’s summer season includes former Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ Pritchard who will bring the best of the Moulin Rouge to Loughborough on Friday, September 20 in ‘Come What May’. The musical will see AJ accompanied by his brother, fellow dancer and former Love Island star Curtis, as they bring the “sexy, slick and sequined” tribute to the Moulin Rouge to Leicestershire.

Comedy icon and Hi-de-Hi star Su Pollard will also be in Loughborough to celebrate 50 years in showbusiness. ‘Still Fully Charged’ will see Su delight crowds on Friday, September 27, with a night of “hilarious laughter, fabulous songs and wonderful stories” from her career.

June will see a host of musical performances at Loughborough Town Hall. Brightlights will bring a production of Guys and Dolls to town on Saturday, June 8, while High School Musical will be appearing between Thursday, June 27 and Sunday, June 30.

The party will also get going this summer courtesy of a series of tribute acts including Magic Queen on Saturday, August 10, while Some Guys Like Have All the Luck - The Rod Stewart Story appears in Loughborough on Thursday, September 26. Leicester legends Showaddywaddy will also be appearing on Friday, September 13 - but it won’t be unlucky for some as they are set to delight with what organisers have billed as an “unforgettable performance”.

Comedy is the order of the summer with Mock the Week regular Milton Jones also coming to Loughborough in HA!MILTON (not the musical). Arriving on Sunday, September 8, Milton will try and not make a song and dance of his comedy routine which is known for one-liners and sheer daftness.

September will also see Most Haunted Live deliver a number of spooky tales with host Yvette Fielding (Sunday, September 15), while the month also plays host to Aled Jones. He will be in town to celebrate 40 years of music on Wednesday, September 25.

It’s not just big names coming to Loughborough Town Hall this summer with a host of events including watercolour painting, Japanese printing and disco parties also on the summer schedule. For the full list and ticket information, visit the Loughborough Town Hall website.
