Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland shares family fears as 'wife picks up the slack'
Chris McCausland has revealed an element of his family life that he's worried about "a lot", before admitting that his wife picks up a "lot of slack".
The Strictly Come Dancing star, who is the BBC show's first-ever blind contestant and partnered up with Australian dancer Dianne Buswell, has proven to be a favourite amongst fans.
He recently told the Guardian that over the last ten years, he had started feeling "comfortable" in his own skin, with the comedian crediting getting older and welcoming his daughter into the world for his newfound confidence.

The star said: "I think that really changes your outlook on life and yourself.” Chris recalled that although he had always been practical about his sight loss causing him to change jobs in the past, he acknowledged he couldn't quit being a parent if it became difficult.
He divulged: "Being a dad, you can’t just decide to find something else to do. I worried about it a lot, and there’s a lot of slack that my wife picks up, a lot of the logistical stuff.”
Following last week's episode of the popular dance competition, fans weighed in after Chris endured a "disadvantage", as the contestants had to complete a Samba dance-a-thon, which hadn't occurred since 2018.
Chris and Dianne secured just a single point after being the first couple to be sent off. Viewers soon shared their thoughts on the new contest, with one asking whose "brilliant idea" it was to have a Samba-thon "this year of all years".
They said it put Chris at "such a disadvantage", while another said they found it "shocking" that they chose this year to "bring back the sambathon when Chris cannot see any of the other couples/be spatially aware of other couples".
Despite this, once Chris discovered that he'd only landed one point, he eagerly shouted "yes!". He later took to Instagram to share his thoughts about the episode.
He wrote: “I was really proud of our dance on Saturday, and as for the Sambathon….[zipped-mouth emoji] ….Well thank you so much for all of your votes.
“You really did help us survive double Latin! See you tomorrow partner (Dianne Buswell), I'll be bringing earplugs.” (sic)
In the last episode, Jamie Borthwick, alongside pro partner Michelle Tsiakkas, became the ninth couple to exit the show after facing Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe in the dance-off.
You can catch Strictly Come Dancing tonight at 7.05pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
