Already winning over the hearts of the nation is comedian Chris McCausland and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell on Strictly Come Dancing. Chris is the show's first-ever blind celebrity and has impressed both the viewers and the judges.

Now Chris and Dianne have made it through the first elimination, even scoring a six from Craig. While talking about their results from Saturday's live show, Chris revealed Dianne's brutal reaction to finding out he was her partner. The pair have a close relationship with Dianne's father Mark, who lives in Australia and Chris told host Claudia Winkleman what Dianne said to her dad when they were matched together.

Chris said: "Her dad let the cat out the bag, he let it slip that when Dianne was paired with me even though she claimed that she wanted to be with me, she said to her dad, 'don't worry dad, winning isn't everything'." Claudia and the rest of the celebrities erupted into laughter, which followed Chris remarking that he looked over the balcony at the other performances even though he could not see.

He told Dianne that Chris was in his "top ten dancers" on the show, which left Chris 'faux' outraged as there are only 15 celebrities on the show.

Speaking on a video both Chris and Dianne posted to Instagram, Chris said: "There is only 15 in the show! How can I be in this top ten? I mean literally, the lack of faith from your family is astonishing... I'm only in the top 66% of dancers on this show."
