Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell 'can't wait' for Chris McCausland's career move
Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell has shared a message of support for her dance partner Chris McCausland. The trailer for the Scouse comedian's new project was released this week.
Chris is set to star in festive special ‘Bad Tidings’ alongside fellow comedian Lee Mack. The Sky Original will see the two Liverpool-born stars go from enemies to heroes.
In the comedy one-off special viewers can watch as the pair cause havoc in the lead up to Christmas. Home security expert, Neil, played by Lee Mack has a problem with his neighbour Scott, played by Chris McCausland, but the pair must put their difference aside to save Christmas.

This is not the first time two have teamed up on a project together. They appeared on an episode of sitcom Not Going Out last year and have also presented at the BAFTAs together.
While no official date has been released yet, the festive special will be coming to Sky and streaming service NOW this Christmas. The trailer has already been released with other cast members including Sarah Alexander, Ben Crompton, Emily Coates, Josiah Eloi, Millie Kiss, Tupele Dorgu, Sunil Patel and Donna Preston all featuring.
Sharing the trailer to her Instagram story, Dianne said: "This was so funny!!! I can't wait for you all to watch this movie." The Strictly contestants have been a huge support to each other on and off the dancefloor.
On Saturday, they achieved incredible scores of two tens for their performance in Blackpool with the Australian. The dancer said it was "emotional" as her parents had arrived in the UK to watch her dance.
Chris spoke to the ECHO ahead of last Saturday's show and said: "Me and Dianne have really had this pipe dream of being here the week after Blackpool because her mum and dad are coming from Australia and they haven't seen her dance live for eight years.
"This is nothing without her, she has got the most out of me and I think it will be nice if we're both able to give something to each other. If we can get to that moment then stick a fork in me, I'll be done. But certainly, I'm hoping to stay in this for as long as possible."
Yesterday, Dianne posted a heartwarming photo of herself in a group hug with her parents and Chris. She said: "This year of strictly has been special in so many ways thanks to the wonderful Chris! this is just the cherry on top. Magic moments that I’ll cherish forever."
Chris, who is the show's first ever blind contestant, responded: "I feel so proud of us for making it this far so that this could be possible. It was a pipe dream and we made it come true! See you tomorrow partner."
