Uh-oh, this is definitely not the best way to win a dance competition.
Strictly Come Dancing favourites, Jay McGuiness and Aliona Vilani, are reportedly both battling with injuries after a week of difficult rehearsals.
Apparently Aliona was left “dazed and disorientated” after The Wanted singer managed to kick her in he head twice, and now the Argentine Tango has cause Jay’s old knee injury to play up.
A source from the hit BBC show explained: “It has all been going very smoothly for Jay and it looked like he would foxtrot to the final.
“But this week has been filled with problems. He can’t get his head round the steps and has kicked Aliona a few times. They’ve barely completed it correctly at all.
“Now Jay’s knee is leaving him in real pain too so they can’t work too hard. He’s starting to feel the pressure.”
The 25-year-old star has admitted to feeling the pressure this week, panicking over the fact that the Tango is nothing like his previous experience in tap and ballet.
The stressed singer also praised his pro-dancer for her help, admitting: “I’m learning styles I’ve never done before.
“Believe me, without Aliona it would be a car crash.”
Well, as the old saying goes, it’ll be alright on the night… Right guys?
