Just hours before Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing live show, Pete Wicks saw his chances of winning 'ruled out' by experts, who have become more and more convinced he'll be the one to get the boot this weekend.

Asa a star with no dance training whatsoever, ex TOWIE cast member turned podcast host Pete has had an uphill battle to climb every single week when it comes to learning a new genre and routine and has surprised a lot of people, bot least the Strictly judges, who have consistently praised his significant improvement over the last few months.

A fortnight ago, things went very well for Pete and pro partner Jowita Przystal, when they achieved their best score so far of 36 out of 40; thanks to an incredibly moving Couple's Choice number in tribute to Pete's late nan, his biggest supporter, as he looked close to tears on screen. Sadly for the popular couple, their marks too a big turn in the wrong direction last week, with them four points adrift at the bottom of the leaderboard in Blackpool, after their cha cha didn't go to plan in the Tower Ballroom and Pete made some obvious mistakes.

Even after their score blow, the stunned couple still made it through, without even having to compete in the dance-off. However, despite his record of being saved by the public every week is still intact, every single bookmaker has him as the 'nailed on' favourite to go, predicting that any of the other celebs would defeat him in a dance-off.

And, ranking each star's potential of winning right before Saturday's Strictly live show,, online gambling experts Fruityslots.com cut Pete's chances to just 3.9%, a long way behind their frontrunner Tasha Ghouri on 36%. It is still Chris McCausland who leads the way in the odds, with him seen as a 'shoe in' for the final and 100/1 to be eliminated this week.
