Strictly Come Dancing's Sam Quek celebrates her song for heartwarming reason
Olympian Sam Quek revealed a very heart-warming reason why she was celebrating her song on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night.
The hockey player and TV personality dressed up and was twirled around the dancefloor by partner Nikita Kuzmin to Taylor Swift's hit song Love Story as part of this week's icons theme.
Sam was joined in rehearsals during the week by some very special guests. Footage which aired on the BBC show on Saturday showed her best friends joining her to see her get down the choreography to the song.

Sam revealed the foursome went to Swift's Eras Tour when it was in the UK earlier this year. After her dance, Sam told host Tess Daly and the judges that she was "living the dream" by dancing to the song.
Sam and Nikita received a score of 29 following their dance, with some viewers saying they were "undermarked." One social media user wrote on X: "Standing by the fact that I think Sam Quek was undermarked then."
Another said: "Oh Sam that was absolutely gorgeous. Stunning choreography too Nikita."
Sam followed TV personality Pete Wicks and opera singer Wynne Evans, who channelled Freddie Mercury and Shirley Bassey.
