Strictly Come Dancing's Sarah Hadland 'halts' BBC show to hit back at criticism
Sarah Hadland brought Strictly Come Dancing to a 'halt' on Saturday night as she retaliated to a remark made in her direction by Craig Revel-Horwood, as the judge was booed by the audience inside Blackpool's Tower Ballroom.
After impressing from the get-go, Miranda star Sarah has emerged as a real contender for victory on the BBC show, with her and pro partner Vito Coppola delivering strong performances week after week, as they climbed to be second favourites, behind only Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell in the odds and well ahead of Tasha and Aljaz in third.
Prior to Saturday night's Strictly Blackpool special. the couple's highest mark was 37 but that has now been eclipsed by the 39 they received for their Couple's Choice routine to Kylie Minogue's Padam Padam. The reaction inside the world famous Ballroom spoke volumes as, every other judge but Craig heaped praise on Saran and Vito's Fosse inspired number.

Craig prompted a chorus of very audible boos from the Strictly audience, when he told Sarah that her performance was 'a bit too perfect' with his colleagues all looking shocked at the remark and Sarah herself seeming taken aback. She didn't take the criticism lying down though, as she then called a halt to proceedings, to firstly ask for permission to respond and then retaliated: ""Craig, I know you did a dance to Padam as well, so I hope there isn't any rivalry!
Viewers at home didn't even try yo hide their disdain for Craig's justification for not giving Sarah a 10, as one headed to X to rant: "Sorry???? Craig taking a point off Sarah because it was “too perfect”????" as another fumed: "Sarah should have just got the first 40 but no… Craig gives a 9 because it was ‘a little too perfect"
