Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola declares love for co-star as fans in stitches after 'big issue'
Strictly Come Dancing's Vito Coppola had fans in stitches as he shared a "big issue" in the lead up to Musicals Week. The professional is partnered with Sarah Hadland in this year's race for the glitterball.
They will hope to progress to the semi finals with their Charleston to Popular from Wicked on this weekend's quarter final. The two have been keeping fans updated with how rehearsals are going in posts shared on Instagram.
Vito took to the platform to share a hilarious update today as he teased he was given some stern words of advice to Sarah. He captioned the post: "We are really working hard on the judges feedback, but the big issue so far is still 'The Gapping'."
Gapping is a term that describes when dancers aren't in sync. However, fans were in stitches when a twist at the end of the clip revealed he was talking to Sarah's pet cat, Percy.

Followers took to the comments in stitches after the update and demanded more content from Vito with Percy. Melissa said: "Sooooo cute. I mean both Vito and Percy. Percy doesn’t seem too worried about the gapping."
Lucy posted: "More Percy x Vito content please" Lisa commented: "Awwww, let’s get Percy to make an appearance in the final please please please." Maria commented: "Omg how adorable is Percy. Be careful Percy is going to steal the show, lol."
Vito and Sarah will be up against Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell in this week's quarter final. However, there is no animosity between the contestants as Vito shared a heartfelt message of support to his competitors.
Chris and Dianne also shared an update to give an insight to reflect on their progression to the quarter final. Vito took to the comments and said: "Hey Guuuuuyyyyysssss. Love you two."
Scouse comedian Chris is the show's first ever blind contestant and has won fans over with his inspiring performances. Chris has explained why last week's episode was so special as it allowed Dianne to perform in front of her parents live for the first time in seven years.
He told the ECHO in an exclusive interview this month: "This is nothing without her, she has got the most out of me and I think it will be nice if we're both able to give something to each other. If we can get to that moment then stick a fork in me, I'll be done. But certainly, I'm hoping to stay in this for as long as possible."
