Tonight's Baseball-themed episode of Strictly Come Dancing (October 21) controversially saw the introduction of a Kiss Cam, and viewers naturally assumed it was a reference to Seann Walsh and Katya Jones' now infamous snog.

The pair were caught kissing each other and cheating on their partners a couple of weeks ago, and the media attention surrounding the two of them is still yet to dissipate.

So it was perhaps an unwise decision for the show to even mention the word 'kiss', let alone bring in a camera with the sole purpose to force people to lock lips.

One viewer tweeted: "They did 'Kiss Cam' really? after the last few weeks?"

Luckily for Seann and Katya, the Kiss Cam didn't set its sights on them, but that didn't stop viewers from joking about the awkwardness of the situation.

"You missed a trick not putting Seann and Katya on the Kiss Cam shot," said one viewer.

Another said: "Why didn't they put Katya and Seann in that kiss cam?"

Much to the frustration of many viewers, Seann and Katya narrowly survived tonight's dance-off after being voted into the bottom two along with Vick and Graziano.

The judges clashed on the performances, but ultimately, Seann and Katya got through as Darcey, guest judge Alfonso Ribeiro and Shirley voted to save them, despite Craig's attempt to save Vick and Graziano.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One.
