Yahoo News Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice gets matching tattoo with girlfriend
Former Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice and his girlfriend Bianca Guaccero have unveiled matching tattoos after they were crowned the winners of Ballando con le Stelle.
The couple won the Italian version of Strictly over the weekend, beating Olympic champion Federica Pellegrini and her professional dance partner Pasquale La Rocca.
To celebrate their win, the pair got matching tattoos of the show's finale date on their wrists.

Bianca unveiled the new ink in a photo posted to her Instagram Story, which Giovanni then shared to his own.
Just above Giovanni's new tattoo is another of the date he won Strictly Come Dancing with Rose Ayling-Ellis in 2021.

Giovanni announced in September that he would be taking part in Ballando con le Stelle, following the news he would not return for the 2024 series of Strictly after allegations of misconduct during training sessions.

The BBC's review of Strictly's behind-the-scenes culture found that "some but not all" of the complaints of alleged misconduct made by Amanda Abbington regarding her training with Giovanni last season were upheld.
In a statement after the review's conclusion, Giovanni said: "Today I'm happy because, you know, at the beginning there were very, very serious allegations thrown out at me, but as [of] today, none of the serious allegations have been upheld."
Amanda Abbington called the findings of the BBC inquiry "a vindication" and expressed hope that "lessons have been learned".

In other news, Giovanni will next embark on a 2025 tour with Anton Du Beke titled Together Again, following their Together tour earlier this year.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
