Strictly's Gorka Marquez had Ross Geller-style wardrobe malfunction in PVC trousers
The dancer said his trousers were extremely tight
What did you miss?
Strictly’s Gorka Marquez has admitted he had a Ross Geller moment in the leather trousers he wore on the BBC show.
The pro dancer dazzled everyone with the skintight PVC trousers he wore as he and celeb partner Dr Punam Krishan danced the foxtrot at the weekend. When he appeared on spin-off It Takes Two on Thursday, 3 October, host Janette Manrara told him he had been trending on social media because of his outfit, with people joking that the trousers alone were worth the licence fee.
However, Marquez confessed that they were so tight he actually got into a little bit of a pickle, just like David Schwimmer’s character in Friends.
What, how and why?
On It Takes Two, Manrara quizzed Marquez about how fitted the trousers actually were, and he admitted they were "very tight". He then switched into Spanish, with Manrara translating and saying he had said they were "tighter than the nails in a submarine".

"You struggled to get them on and off didn’t you," said Krishan, as the dancer laughed and jumped up to demonstrate how he struggled with the trousers.
"I was like the guy in Friends!" he exclaimed, as Manrara replied: "Yeah in the toilet? Ross!"
In the episode entitled The One With All The Resolutions, Ross wore some clinging leather trousers on a date. He got into a spot of bother when he took them off in the bathroom because he feeling too hot, then couldn't get them back on and resorted to slapping on all sorts of cream and powder to help him ease them back up.
"Yes I had to have talc," Marquez said. "And you know when your legs, chafing, a lot of that!"
Krishan said: "We were just about to go for the announcement of couples and he was like, 'What do I put on? Do I put on powder? Do I put on cream? Do I put on Sudocrem?' and I was like, 'Not now Gorka!'
"He was like, 'What’s going to make me chafe the least?' I was like, 'Just dance will you'."
What did viewers say?
Viewers were tickled by all the chat about Marquez' clothing choice. "Loving how this episode of It Takes Two has just descended into an in-depth discussion of Gorka’s PVC trousers," one said on X. Another joked: "Gorka is very ‘lively’ this evening."
Marquez had a joke about it himself on Instagram, posting a snap of himself in the trousers as he quipped: "Apparently this outfit was a great choice."
