Yahoo News Strictly pair on "wicked" couple Ashley Roberts and Giovanni Pernice
Strictly Come Dancing professionals and married couple Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara have opened up about the newest Strictly couple Ashley Roberts and Giovanni Pernice.
Ashley and Giovanni were heavily rumoured to be an item during the last series of the show, but they've only recently confirmed that they are in fact dating after all.
Speaking about meeting up with Ashley and Giovanni in Miami, Aljaz told New! Magazine: "Me and Giovanni had such an amazing time. It was so nice to spend Christmas with him. They're wicked."
Asked if they had been on double dates together, he added: "I don't think we could call them double dates – we were just in the same place in Miami."
Janette explained further: "It was nice for me more than anything to see my family. It was a blast! We had a good time in Miami. We came back and Ashley was like, 'Oh my god, where is my tan?' She didn't get the same tan as me."
Ashley recently shared a little about her and Giovanni's relationship, confirming: "Yes, we are seeing each other.
"And now the show is done we can spend a bit more time together," she added of the romance. "We’re getting to know each other, and it’s nice."
