Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has split up with her Emmerdale boyfriend Anthony Quinlan.

The pair had been dating for 10 months, though her agent has now confirmed that the couple have decided to part ways.

"Due to their busy schedules and distance they have split but still remain really close friends," her agent told Digital Spy.

We have also reached out to Anthony's reps for comment.

Dianne has been partnered with YouTuber Joe Sugg on this year's series of Strictly, and will this weekend take on the Waltz to 'The Rainbow Connection' by Sleeping At Last.

Meanwhile, the last two weeks of Strictly have been dominated by the Seann Walsh and Katya Jones kiss scandal, though the pair managed to make it through last weekend.

However, one of the show's other contestants, Graeme Swann, has revealed that he had a very awkward backstage encounter with Seann after the initial scandal broke.

"Personally, you don't see everyone all week and then you meet together on a Friday when you do your run-through with the band and stuff," he recalled. "I really enjoyed it, just because I'm friends with Seann. I was the first person he saw when he walked in, and I was just there with a stupid grin on my face laughing at him.

"Not at what he'd done, but at the situation he found himself in all week. I was thinking, he's a comedian, he'll find the lighter side of this. He didn't! I said to him, 'I want to see how awkward the first introductions since the incident are going to be'.

"Again, I thought he'd find the funny side. He just looked at me and said, 'Please don't mate!' And walked off! So, you know, people take things different ways. You play with fire, you're going to get burned one day, aren't you?"

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One.
