Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse is aiming for the glitterball trophy with some help from one of Bradley Walsh's Chasers this year!

Oti will return for her fifth series in the BBC ballroom later this year, but the closest she's come to the trophy thus far is finishing as runner-up with Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac back in 2016.

This year, Oti is looking for a fellow reality TV competitor to go for glory. During an appearance with the rest of the Strictly dancers on The One Show, she revealed who she'd most like to partner with this series.

"I think The Beast from The Chase," she told the presenters. "That would be really exciting."

For the uninitiated, Oti is referring to Mark Labbett, who is known on ITV's quiz as The Beast for the vicious way he swats down any contestants challenging him.

"He's always, sort of, serious and quite stern," Oti explained on The One Show. "It would be nice to see him do a salsa or something."

Considering I'm a Celebrity made The Chase's Anne Hegerty (aka The Governess) one of the most beloved TV stars in the nation last year, Oti just might be a casting genius.

The dance pro is returning to Strictly Come Dancing having recently mentored aspiring dancers on BBC's The Greatest Dancer. Despite that experience, Oti has ruled herself out of replacing Strictly judge Darcey Bussell.

"I love dancing. I love coming to rehearsals. I love being part of the group. I think it's a really special group to be a part of," Oti told Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2.

"There are no dancers like Strictly dancers and how close we are. And I would absolutely miss that and that part of it. "I'll be dancing, honey. I'll be dancing!"

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One later this year.
